The Curtain
The Curtain is a participatory photography project that explores the politics of public space through portraiture. Set against a translucent curtain during the pandemic, the project invites ordinary people to stand in front of the lens—revealing identity, vulnerability, and quiet resilience. Through an accordion-style photo book and large-scale outdoor displays, this work transforms private presence into shared visibility, reimagining what it means to be seen in a closed community.
