Childhood Reframed
In this socially engaged art project, I collaborated with a partner to organize a creative workshop in a remote village, offering local children the opportunity to freely express themselves through painting. The activity aimed not only to inspire imagination, but also to bridge visual storytelling across two artistic mediums—painting and photography. After the children completed their paintings, we recreated their visual ideas through photography, allowing them to see how their original concepts could be transformed and reinterpreted. This process encouraged them to understand both the emotional depth and narrative power of images, while fostering their sense of agency and self-expression.
